A MM! Fuyu, in my mind, is the regretful Mastermind. AS in, he regrets killing all of the people he knew, even if the game was all a simulation. A fake. He still feels bad for seeing everyone, including Gundham and Peko, die. He’d regret betraying Hajime, Akane, Sonia and Kazuichi, as well as everyone else.
He’d cry. A lot. During the traitor/mastermind trial, once he’s found out, he’ll act all angry about it, but then one of the survivors will say something about stopping his angry facade, and he’d just break down. Tears, real ones, would leave his eyes like crazy most likely.
He’d reassure himself earlier on in the game that hey, you’ll be fine. You’re the mastermind. You won’t die. And he’d think so much of himself, he’d forget about Peko, his partner, his sister figure.
Speaking of Peko, when she gets executed, he’s half-tempted to expose himself then and there. He’d feel empty without her, and actually stay in his room often, only coming put on occasion.
Oh, he’s trans!! So only Sonia, Gundham, Kazuichi, and Hajime know this. He keeps it from Peko because he doesn’t want to drive her away from him more then he already had, and when Peko is executed he’d most likely feel guilt from not telling her sooner.
He’d be very apologetic once everyone woke up. Like, very apologetic. He’d probably attempt to spill his guts again, only to be stopped from a shooting pain from wearing his binder for who knows how long-
hey, sonia! here are your headcanons under the cut. your aesthetic will be posted in just a moment!

sonia nevermind had been filled with despair since she was born.
she remembers as a toddler, listening to her parents tell story after story about how “oh, sonia was just the sweetest baby!! she never yelled, or cried……. just the best.”
they always had to trail off as they remembered. she didn’t yell or cry, that was true, but she also didn’t laugh or smile or show any kind of emotion.
sonia nevermind was bored. and she didn’t know how to fix it.
...but it's funny how things fall into place.
the first time sonia felt the rush of true despair was watching her friend assassinated by traitors right in front of her eyes.
she didn’t have a lot of friends. her parents didn’t like her associating with people of lower status.
her bodyguard was the only one she could talk to, and talk she did- spilling out her thoughts and feelings over the chef’s handmade cheese platters while the other girl nodded solemnly and sipped at her tea
sonia knew some people wanted her and her parents dead. it came with being royalty - someone was always going to disagree, and when you’re of such high status… the only way to be stopped is to be killed.
she could see her friends eyes widen as the shot rang out, hand resting on the gun on her hip as she turned to protect sonia, who the bullet was meant for.
whoever shot didn’t have very good aim.
it hit her chest, and as she bled out in front of sonia a feeling sparked
she could feel something
she could… feel something?
….this required further investigation.
getting into hope’s peak academy was easy. fooling everyone was easy. the plan she had made… it was tough, but she could do it. anyone with enough despair could do it.
she had accounted for every part of the plan. every bump, every accident. everything- it was accounted for and planned around… but it was missing something, and she didn’t know what
until she met him.
sonia nevermind met hajime hinata on a crisp, cold morning in early december. he bumped into her and knocked her down onto the cobblestone, turning to face her with a worried look and a hand extended to help her up, exclaiming a panicked “are you alright?”
sonia took his hand. and that sealed the deal.
it took only a few days of hanging around him to realize he was the same as her. bored. full of despair.
he was perfect for her. he was the piece she needed
so when he disappeared…
this was a new kind of despair. and she wasn't sure she liked it.
she had to do this without him. she had to do this for him, even if he wasn't there. but she didn't want to.
she thought death was the ultimate despair… and sure, she was jealous he got to taste it, but… she never thought he’d do something like that without her.
he wouldn’t… right?
...right.
when she met hajime hinata for the second time on a warm morning in spring, he was no longer hajime hinata.
but he looked to her, gave her a paper describing what happened, and gave a smirk that seemed somehow warm
he wasn’t her hinata anymore… but maybe he would become her someone else.
it was almost sad how easy it was. after the world seemed to shrivel up and burn, all it took was some memory wiping, a haircut and contacts for izuru, and an abandoned school.
when she “first met” hajime hinata for the third time, they were partners in crime. lovers. best friends. everything to each other. but she smiled politely and curtsied, introducing herself like she had with the others. the only thing different was a wink and a smirk, lasting only half a second.
and he smiled back, held out a hand to shake, and introduced himself as hajime hinata for the second time - (she should send a thank you letter to the surgeons- the shsl actor talent came in handy) - but returned her look with a mischievous smile of his own.
the despair she saw on everyone else's face was worth it all
down to her last drop of blood. a murder victim wasn’t necessarily the way she saw herself going, but sacrifices had to be made. besides, he could do it.
it only took a few more deaths for him to join her, and she extended a hand like he had all those years ago.
with a smile and a laugh, they were together again.
