💠MASTER YOUR MIGRAINE💠 Part 2️⃣ - Are your Constant Headaches a Migraine? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For 15 years, before I even knew I was having migraines, I struggled to deal with the constant headaches I would get. The usual pain killers had no effect on them and it would make me vomit as soon as I would take them. Back then, I always associated migraines with the ‘aura’ symptom - the flashing light before its onset. I never had those. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was only when I met a good doctor in Italy who properly diagnosed the condition. She was suffering from it too and knew of all the tell-tale signs. Being a General Practitioner, she did what all doctors would do - prescribed me with migraine-specific pain killers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At first, it changed my life. I was able to lead a normal life without the worry of migraines. Whenever one was about to start I would take the tablets and the pain would go away. It was amazing. However, I started noticing that the migraines would start to come on more frequently and the effects of the tablets took longer to work. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After doing a bit of research I realised that one of the side effects of these painkillers and many others, was that they caused headaches as well. Yet, I couldn’t stop taking them for the fear of feeling that excruciating pain again. I carried on for a number of years until I found essential oils. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Since formulating and perfecting a blend that works on my migraines, and I realised it worked on others too, I’ve noticed a dramatic drop in its frequency of occurrence. From having about 10-14 migraines a month, I’m now getting about 2 a month. These 2 are migraines that I wake up with and can’t reverse, but I’m able to control its severity which is much less than before. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To date, I’ve suffered with migraines for 25 years and this is the first time I feel I have a control over them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🌅There are alternative means to prevent an attack and minimise its effects.
