A new track from the upcoming acoustic EP by Mat D titled Broken Hymns Volume 2

Mat D playing "Gambling, Girls & Guns" for CXCW2013. Mat D has been blessed with the gifts of a soulful voice, great guitar playing & is a slept upon songwriter. Some of my personal favorites from his albums are "Carry Me To Canaan", "The Last Broken Hymn" & "Hellbound In Holyoke" off his "Broken Hymns of The Roadhouse Shrine" album, which is a very solid acoustic release. He also has albums with Mat D & The Profane Saints. Dirt Town City Limits has "The Ghost Of Huddie Ledbetter", "Big Haired Memphis Woman", "Sparkplug Rain" are other ones that get a lot of play with me. "Resurrection Cadillac" & "Ford Marriage" on Plank Road Drag are choice songs. I could literally go on. They have a total of 7 albums, and not one of them, isn't something that shouldn't be in your music collection.

Mat D & The Profane Saints are wrapping up an album. They have released a full band single "Carry Me To Canaan" off the upcoming album. You can download it for free here.
