My Math Hybrid Class Review for MAT.1592
I will start this review of this Hybrid course, by mentioning that to me, first of the description is misleading and since the class is run in a completely different manner than other Math 115 sections, it should also be advertised as one.
The mere term Hybrid, is extremely broad and doesn't give a student who is registering for this class an outlook on the way this class will be conducted. As a person who has struggled with math from an early academic age, I would have benefited from a course in which I had more class time, all materials was first taught in class and not sectioned off between lessons in class and lessons on educosoft, and more. While professor Meangru, is doing an excellent job, it is my firm belief that this style of course needs a lot of improvement, in the area of advertisement.
I am aware that math 115 is considered rudimentary college beginner's math, and that most students who took this class with a prior math knowledge or at least not impaired, benefited from its easy (once a week) schedule, and are more than satisfied to pass this course, get the credits, fulfill their major requirements and move on, without much time spent in.
This is all great, where it works, in the areas where it doesn't work, like in my case, I would suggest some changes are in need. Other than my frustration in general with math, which by this point, must be obvious, I will repeat, that professor Meangru, has been great and this class could have been run a lot worse if it weren't for him running it.
Thank you.

Hybrid Math Class: Why I like
When I too this hybrid class, I think it will be hard for me with only 2hrs class once a week. After attending classes, I see this course is well organized: online access to homework and the professor gives us work during the week. Homework takes a lot of time in this course, but it is worth when it comes to tests. Taking MAT115 hybrid has been a good experience. I recommend to all students who MAT115 need take Hybrid class and get credits.

MAT 115-1592 Hybrid
My hybrid experience is in general pretty good with lots of stuff that I have already taken, however, it was a must to refresh my memory in order to complete the task with a satisfactory result. At the beginning, I was a little frustrated with the quantity of work that had to be done on line, so I challenged myself. My lesson, everyday little by little--don’t wait unlit the due date. I think that math is a subject when you can work on your own to a certain point, therefore, in my opinion this math level can be taken online. At least we are meeting once a week. I would feel odd having this course be taught online, only. I am glad to be in the class to experience a different way of learning, which might become very common or the only way to obtain a knowlege in the future.

My experience with this hybrid model (MAT115.1592)
To be honest Im not a big fan of the hybrid course... I feel totally lost and math is not my best subject. Personally I'd rather be in a class with the proffesor for the full time so that I can get everything explained in person and not on Educo which is not so helpful sometimes. I feel very overwhelmed in math 115 and it has not improved my attitude towards math.

My experience with MAT115.1592-Hybrid
i like the hybrid class because being able to see the problems and going over them on screen seems more comfortable. Going over them in class helps reinforces the questions or topics we have learned, so they both help understand the work.

MAT115-1592 Prof. Meangru
Taking MAT115 hybrid has been a great experience. [This] hybrid class does take a lot of your time, but it is all worth it because you go over the material in class and online. Since I only have this class one day a week and the prof. gives us work during the week, by the time I return to class I remember all the work he gave us because it's online. I recommend MAT115 hybrid to all students.
