Which one sexts like a straight white boy? Noatak, but neither are exactly gifted at sexting. Who put a goddamned fork in the microwave? Noatak. Mako legitimately gets angry over this and Noatak tries to distract him with kitchen sex. It mostly works, but Mako’s still grumbly about it afterwards. 

Who does the silly hands-over-the-eyes “Guess who” thing? Gross, 2cute4them, next question. (Noatak would maybe do it, but he’d definitely whisper something sexual and then probably tie Mako’s wrists together behind his back with his belt.)

Who puts their cold hands/feet on their partner? I feel like Noatak does it more, just to watch Mako jump on the sofa and push him away in some exasperated voice.  Mako maybe does it a few times just to spite Noatak, but Noatak is the main offender here. 

Who had that embarassing Reality TV marathon? Well, Noatak is probably unemployed after that whole “Anti-Bending Revolution Stint” so he probably watches trash shows in secret and then tells Mako he’s been reading sophisticated political and social philosophy stuff all day.  Mako’s the one who gets caught watching the most recent season of The Bachelor on Hulu and tries to use Bolin’s recent visit to his apartment as a cover up, but they both know the truth. (Noatak maybe hate watches an episode or two or 10 with him, just to scoff at how stupid it all is, but ends up getting too invested in who Shuu, a wealthy Cabbage Farmer from the middle of nowhere in the Earth Kingdom, will pick in the end). 

Who laughs more during sex? Um, I believe we’ve already established that Matak sex is Serious Business, composed of moaning, begging, power bottoming, and maybe a safe word or two, but NO ONE LAUGHS DURING MATAK SEX.  

WHO IS THE LITTLE SPOON? I suppose Mako, if they ever accidentally find themselves in a cuddling position?  Maybe Noatak sort of half cuddles him post aggressive sex, but imagining Noatak and Mako cuddling under fluffy blankets makes me feel as uncomfortable as it would probably be for both of them.

who is the grumpiest in the morning: It’s an eternal battle to see who can out grump the other one.  Mako’s usually sour-faced about Beifong’s early morning calls, scowling for the entirety of his shower.  Noatak is sometimes irritated by the fact that his entire bending movement was overthrown, you know, the little things. 

who worries more when the other is sick/hurt: ….. Mako? i guess????? i mean, Noatak maybe worries a tiny bit that Mako won’t tell him if he’s going too far when they go at their power/control bdsm sex fun times because Mako seems to enjoy pain a little too much and yeah, the point is to hurt him, but not actually hurt him, aha ha ha.

who plays pranks on the other: what are pranks these two are hella serious.  maybe noatak would try one at some point and mako would just be confused. 

who is always the first to suggest cuddling on the sofa: lol “first to suggest cuddling”dO YOU THINK THEY CUDDLE I MEAN, REALLY.  at MOST you get Noatak waking up before Mako does, surprised by the weight on his chest and the sleep steady puffs of breath over his skin, and it’s not even a realization that it’s Mako against his chest, because he knows it’s Mako, it’s just… odd, when they’re close like this and it’s not Noatak fucking him into the mattress or him gripping Mako’s thighs while Mako rides him like a champ. (And maybe Noatak likes it a little, this closeness, and he smiles - as much as Noatak can/would smile - when Mako wakes up and Noatak pretends to be asleep, and Mako, belatedly, Noatak notices, slides back onto his side of the bed.)

who insists on creating nicknames for the other: I feel like the nicknames here would only be used condescendingly, like “alright, Amon, try not to start another revolution while i’m out getting dish soap” but affectionate nicknames? for them??

who drools on the other when they’re asleep: Noatak’s so tightly wound that he probably grinds his teeth in his sleep or something, so probably Mako. 

who says ‘I love you’ first:No one ever says it, it just comes through actions like getting the right take out order on Mako’s way to Noatak’s place and comments like “put a jacket on, for god’s sake,” and all those other phrases from that tumblr post floating around about ways to say i love you without saying it.
