Ace is an option, he’ll appreciate your friendliness and willingness to be playful. He can have issues being a little to reserved, but with patience you could draw him out.
Piper is similar, except rather than withdrawn, he’s very awkward when he actually cares what someone thinks. Give him time and he’ll get more comfortable and relax.
Chisel can seem a bit grumpy, but he’ll relax pretty quick and while he can sometimes seem a bit disinterested, he really is paying attention.
Archi is easy to get along with, as long as you aren’t bothered by his lack of motivation to do almost anything on his own. If you’re willing to be the “suggester” 95% of the time, he’s definitely a possibility.
Cirrus is an option, but the one that would take the most patience to draw out.
Flush would be a bit harder to get close to than Ace, but if you kept at it, you could do it.
Tinker wouldn’t give you anymore trouble than Chisel, and would be more directly involved in your interests if you let her.
Lief and Mercury, as well as Gail, are options that could work, as long as you don’t mind their higher energy levels, or Gail’s temper.
You’ve got a good baseline to work with almost any of the more laid back skeles, or the less harsh high energy ones honestly.
As for no’s. Hmm. A few of the skele’s with less patience might cause issues. They can get snappish rather than the calm “Hey right now doesn’t work for me” it can be more of a “You need to shut up” which is not exactly pleasant to deal with. And some are just straight up mean from the jump, and if you don’t have the staying power to weather that for potentially weeks on end, those can be ruled out. The biggest problem with them honestly, is that they don’t believe when people are friendly or kind from the get go, and will try to push you to make you “reveal your real self”. But, if you can tough out the “testing” phase, that opens up your options even more, both romantically and for friends.
