Video Diary Week #1

1. Does your character have a nickname? Who gave it to them? What’s the story behind their nickname?

When we were little my brother was looking for my name in a baby naming book but he found the name Theadora. It means "God's Gift" and he thought that should have been my name. So he started calling me that and then eventually shortened it to just Dora. Which wasn't fun when Dora The Explorer came out.

2. What physical scars does your character have? What are the stories behind them?

I have some scars on my legs that I'm not going to talk about, so yeah.

3. Who is your character’s best friend? Why are they so close? Is there anybody your character wishes they could be closer with?

I don't really have a best friend. And now I'm realizing how sad that sounds. Um, I guess I'd like to get to know Cody better? Since we live together and he's my match an all.

4. Where does your character go when they’re angry? What do they do? 

I guess it just depends. I used to just go to my room when I was angry but since Maika died I've found myself at his grave a lot when I'm upset.

5. What is your character’s biggest fear? Have they told anyone this fear, and will they ever?

My biggest fear is being alone. It's the incredibly stupid reason I decided to get matched. But no I've never told anyone and most likely never will.

Video Diary Week #1

Bentley Rye || It's All Good || 3 September 2014

1. Does your character have a nickname? Who gave it to them? What’s the story behind their nickname?

Uhhh . . . Cody likes to call him, Dani and me the Golden Trio, and Dani calls me Benny most of the time. We're the golden trio because we're awesome and always together, and I don't know why Dani calls me Benny other than it's close to my name. I don't mind though.

2. What physical scars does your character have? What are the stories behind them?

I have one scar on my leg from when I fell down skateboarding. Yeah, I got in huge trouble with the Officials for that. 

3. Who is your character’s best friend? Why are they so close? Is there anybody your character wishes they could be closer with?

That's totally Cody. Well, Dani too, but . . . I don't really consider her just a "friend" you know? So I don't know if she counts, but I feel close to her in some ways I could never feel toward Cody, so it's a tie. I feel like I could tell them anything, and they always have my back no matter what. They're both just amazing people. Well, uh, I wouldn't mind getting to know Kim a bit better since we're matched and all . . . 

4. Where does your character go when they’re angry? What do they do? 

I tend to kinda shut myself off when I get mad. I'll just lock myself up in my room and usually just think. Which isn't always the best idea I guess.

5. What is your character’s biggest fear? Have they told anyone this fear, and will they ever?

Losing Dani or Cody. Especially Dani though because she's more . . . involved in stuff that could get her hurt. Uh, no, she knows I'd be lost without her though. I'd be lost without both of them honestly.

1. Does your character have a nickname? Who gave it to them? What’s the story behind their nickname?

I don't have a nickname, but feel free to give me one.

2. What physical scars does your character have? What are the stories behind them?

I have a scar on my lower back from backing into a tree branch a few years back. 

3. Who is your character’s best friend? Why are they so close? Is there anybody your character wishes they could be closer with? 

I don't have a best friend, but I have a lot of friends. I don't really get too close to anyone.

4. Where does your character go when they’re angry? What do they do? 

I go by running water. The sound soothes me and if it's private enough, no one can hear me or even know I'm there. Seclusion is nice.

5. What is your character’s biggest fear? Have they told anyone this fear, and will they ever?

My fear has always been not having children because I love children and have always wanted to be a father. Now that I'm not matched, that fear is so plausible. I'll find a way though. And for fear of my safety and my child's, the only person I could tell would be the mother of my child(ren).
