Rapid Prototyping
Mine first impression of SLA (strerolithgrahy) was,” oh an other form of 3D printing...”, but then when further read the process and function of the SLA. The flexibility of change and making an object from software with ease is a great asset for any product that is still in development. At same time I wasn’t that familiar with SLA and how and using this technique is very beneficial for capturing the likeness of an early ideal or concept. I went to google to look for examples of SLA and how it can be applied to the most simple of things. While searching I thought how most traditional materials and methods of making pre-existing products could be changed all together if that making process was replaced with SLA. The cost of making something could never be a problem while most forms are already there to mimic.
