MathCrunch on Android!

From meeting many of you at Stanford Splash, we quickly learned that many of you have Android phones, so we went and made an Android app. This is our first iteration and there are more improvements to be expected, but we thought it is important to give students with Android phones some #MathCrunchLove too.

There you have it. MathCrunch for Android. Get help on Pre-algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics and Probability, and Basic Calculus on both iPhone and Android.

Happy Earth Day!

At MathCrunch everyday is Earth Day.

When we are solving your problems we use the blank back of scrap papers to work out your problems. Many of us at MathCrunch have been doing this since our algebra, geometry and pre-calculus classes in middle school. Teachers sometimes found this odd, but really what's the difference between one sided blank paper oppose to two. If you do the math, you could reduce your paper consumption by 50%.

It is a great app. I like the fact that it shows the kids how to do the problem and doesn't just give them the answer. I may even have the tech department download the app on our iPads. Love that it is a free app.

It Has Been A Great First Week - MathCrunch <3

It's been about a week since we launched the MathCrunch app and it has been very exciting. Today we have been around the clock helping students with various types of math problems. Ranging from algebra to calculus to trigonometry. In the last few hours alone, we have provided math help for over 50+ students around the world.

After each MathCrunch session, we make sure to take time out of our crazy schedule to chat with the students. Hearing the feedback from students about how we are helping them has been extremely rewarding for all of us. Here are some shout outs from our awesome students:

Hearing these words really warms our heart. We at MathCrunch never would have thought we could have had this kind of impact on students.

Teachers Love MathCrunch <3

After a MathCrunch session a few nights ago, a student told us their math teacher recommended MathCrunch to the class.

We have been working hard to reach students, but wow it looks like we are doing a really good job reaching math teachers as well. It's great to see how teachers are encouraging students to utilize technology to supplement their education.
