soooooooo i re-read Leondros’s wiki again and I can’t stop thinking of his relationship with Mathis FUCKKKKKKKKKKK

Mathis would definitely “tease” him to no end ( bordering on sensual comments and touch’s to psychological manipulation ) , liking how Leondros tries to save face and seeing how annoyed he gets. I feel like all this tension would boil over in the worst way possible , leading to Leondros's hatred of him

Imagine this , Leondros and Mathis are in a private room , talking about politics or whatever and unfortunately, Mathis wants to tease him a little. He lifts Leondros up onto a nearby table and presses up against him; he doesn’t whisper dirty words or test his loyalty, He’s just …close…He caresses Leon’s hair and Leon is confused, to say the least, waiting for him to do his usual routine and leave him alone and infuriated. He believes this so devotedly that when Mathis kisses him , it just breaks him

It was the softest touch he’s ever felt from him , the most loving. But he knew that it was only meant to play with his feelings and it just set him off. When Mathis finished and gazed upon Leon, he did see the blush he wanted but that blush wasn’t enough to hide the look of hatred on his face.

Mathis was confused by this. Of all the things he’s done to Leon , this was the lightest. Like come on, it was only a tea-

Leondros gets up from the table and walks out, slamming the door behind him. Mathis honestly should’ve been more upset about it, because in his eyes he didn’t do anything wrong, But alas . He stayed there, dumbfounded that someone like Leon had the guts to do that.

Of course, Leondros feels guilty ( BECAUSE THAT WAS HIS FUCKING SIRE) and his loyalty to the church is too strong for him to say Mathis was fully in the wrong, so he apologizes. Mathis forgives him like nothing happened but there relationship is never the same.

Mathis got what he wanted but lost Leon’s trust
