coffee or tea <-- I hate caffeine. it does weird things with my head. But coffee has been necessary lately. The medication my doctor put me on for my hormone issue makes me tired all day. His response was to try caffeine, and it does honestly work. And I’d rather drink some caffeine and deal with the vaguely-trippy side effects than have to switch medications again. I finally got stabilized.
early bird or night owl <-- Waking up naturally at 5:30 is early bird, I suppose.
chocolate or vanilla <-- Is this one supposed to be a competition?? How it the world does anyone expect vanilla to win??
spring or fall <-- Both. :)
silver or gold
pop or alternative
freckles or dimples
snakes or sharks <-- They are too different. One cannot chose, as they are not opposites, and both have their extremely cute properties. Snakes make have the slight upper hand, as I do not live anywhere near sharks.
mountains or fields
thunderstorm or lightning <-- I have yet to see a thunderstorm with no lightning... so... ?
Egyptian or Greek mythology <-- Honestly, neither. I’m rather sick of both. Let’s find a new culture to learn about. I vote we all pile on Turkic mythology for awhile.
ivory or scarlet <-- One comes from the death of a beautiful animal, the other is squished bugs. While also a death, the bugs at least were carefully cared for and raised before being dried and pulverized. So there’s that.
flute or lyre
eyes or lips
witch or fairy
opal or diamond <-- Opals are so pretty with all those flashy colors and diamonds are just... clear. No contest.
butterflies or honeybees <-- See, I have a phobia, so I picked butterflies. Honeybees are cute, in a certain logical point of view. And I love the fruits and veggies they pollinate, and the honey they make. I might have picked them, were it not for the fact that they buzz by my head and suddenly I’m twenty feet away before I realize what happened, heart pounding in my chest.
macaroons or eclairs <-- I’ve never had either? Oh, geeze, that’s so horrid to say. I’m thirty-something and I’ve never had either. I HAVE A NEW GOAL FOR THE MONTH! I must try these. -searches recipe- <-- See, this is also sad. I live in a place where if I want to try these things, I must make them myself. :(
typewritten or handwritten letters <-- You seen my handwriting? Someone tells me I teach for a living, but nobody - ain’t NOBODY - reads my handwriting.
secret garden or secret library
rooftop or balcony <-- Balcony implies being somewhere populous, and I love looking at stars. Stars are harder to see the more people that get around you.
spicy or mild
opera or ballet <-- Again, neither. I’m a touch too ADHD to sit through much of either.
London or Paris <-- Having been to both, I decided I don’t much like touristy cities. London is LESS touristy (in my opinion, from the parts I visited) and has cooler museums.
Vincent Van Gogh or Claude Monet <-- This is Matisse erasure and I refuse to stand for it. Nobody does colors better than a good Matisse.
denim or leather <-- Until the leather industry in India gets a firm looking-at by main stream consumers, I avoid leather products unless I know they are responsibly sourced.
potions or spells <-- Another one where it is impossible to chose. They are for such different things!
ocean or desert <-- ...who would want to PURPOSELY live in a desert? I did that for two years. NEVER AGAIN.
mermaid or siren <-- Classic mermaid, though. The dangerous, don’t look them in the eyes, kind.
masquerade ball or cocktail party <-- Allergic to something in alcohol, so not really a choice, here. After nearly fifteen years of on-and-off experimenting, I haven’t figured out what, although ‘sulfites’ has been a leading competitor. I’m still debating opening up the bottle of ‘sulfite-free wine’ I got like a year ago and see if it does the trick. But I also don’t really want to drink it and find out it’s NOT sulfites that are the problem.
Tagging: I’ve been on Tumblr so little the last few months Due To Life© that I don’t know who is really even active anymore. Tag yourself. :)
