I can't even explain the fucking overwhelming joy and fucking proud feeling I have seeing that MATSOD are back.

They're one of my favorite bands and have been for like... 15+ years? The first time I saw them I think I was 19, I met Dallas after the show and ended up talking with him for quite a while, he's just the nicest dude ever.

It's been 11 years since they've released new music. Dallas had a terrifying accident and almost fucking died, lost most of his hearing one of his eyes and has poor vision in the other, and has been recovering for many, many years. To see that he's finally at a point where he's not only able to make music again, but get onstage and perform, it's fucking amazing and inspiring and holy fuck I am just so happy for him. I followed his recovery, read every update post, listened to every podcast he did, hoping one day he'd be back on his feet and able to just, live a normal pain free life again. I never imagined that he'd be making music again, but I am so fucking happy he is.

The day is finally here and I'm so stoked it's ridiculous.

Seeing that first picture and sobbing is a normal reaction right? 😂😂😂 Dallas and Brad are so freakin weird, and I love them so much. I need Dallas to be okay so he can continue to be one of the weirdest and best people in my life. I miss Maylene. I miss my friends. I hate this. He's doing better but he still has so far to go, and I just don't get it. I've affected maybe 3 people in a positive way my whole life. These dude has positively changed millions of people's lives in 15 or so years. Why would something like this happen to him? He's too important.

Dallas was recently in a 4 wheeler accident while visiting family. He sustained extensive injuries to his body and head and is yet to regain consciousness. Dallas is a tough old boot and when he wakes up, he's gonna need all the help he can get!
