I’m still in shock. Can’t believe Matt’s gone. Still crying.
He was a good wrestler, yeah. But he was a better person. Dude always kept it positive, even when ugly obstacles got in his way. He was destined for some cool things, but cancer thought otherwise (fuck cancer!)
Still think the storyline with Johnny Jeter for the OVW Heavyweight Title is the best storyline to never hit WWE television.
Wish I had gotten to meet him. Got to talk to him a couple of times through his myspace and old website.
Rest in Peace Matt. You will be missed.

Sad news. I was a big fan of him during and for a while after his season on Tough Enough. I eventually fell out of wrestling but I knew of his battles with cancer, it's unfortunate that such a kind, gifted person had to be burdened by such an evil disease. Rest In Peace, Matt.
