hello friends, bit of a different post than usual (tho wtf is usual?)
i think i've finally chosen the 2 works i will be writing my master's thesis on: Infect Your Friends and Loved Ones by Torrey Peters & The Definitions by Matt Greene.
well, IYFALO is for sure; Definitions i could still change my mind about. this is why i'm posting this! my thesis, while i cannot and will not go into details about, dabbles in performance theory/studies and themes of survival, rituals, repetition, speech acts, etc.
so if you have read either or both of this works, are familiar with the theories and approaches mentioned above, or have any other related insights, i would love to hear your thoughts! if you know other works that would pair well with IYFALO in terms of the topics mentioned above, send them my way! i've done a lot of digging and sifting, so please don't be disappointed or mad if i end up not taking your suggestion; like i said, i can't divulge all the information on my topic, but trust that i will be taking every rec very seriously.
