So... yes. Yes, I think he does. For a couple reasons.

1. Matt hit the Love stage first. We know Matt sorta falls hard and fast even when he does precisely nothing about it. And while Reader may have coped with isolation by refusing or denying connection, Matt swung a different way (at least in my mind) in which he DOES allow himself to connect, acknowledges it in his own mind that he cares, but then denies himself anything further. So he hit the stage first, and by sheer virtue of having a headstart, he loves her a bit more.

2. Matt, when he does go in, goes all in. Recklessly, fully, just tosses himself into it. Reader's more wary thanks to what's happened in her past, so she's finally hopped into the deep end of her own volition but she's still kinda squinting around at the water like, 'holy shit it's really deep over here'. Matt, in his usual way, is chillin on the bottom and is going to take way too long to come up for air. Matt's love is sort of devotional that way. When he's in, he's in, fully committed, and loves with every last piece of himself that he hasn't already sold to Hell's Kitchen.

Reader and him will balance out over time, but for now... yeah, I think Matt loves her a little more than she does him.
