probably the seminal stoner-doom album - look onto the rays of the new stoner sun rising! the first time i had consciously listened to anything off holy mountain was in the 'gummo' (1997) soundtrack, and seeing solomon and tummler cycle through their shitty town to music as sleazy as 'dragonaut' felt like the peak of artistry to me. i adore matt pike as a guitarist and i truly think 'holy mountain' might be a perfect album.

who’s your favorite one episode or otherwise very minor supernatural character?

That’s hard because I feel like I tend to get more attached to characters over time. Maybe Matt Pike from Bugs? As much as the episode was not great, and I do think the way they depicted the Native American characters in it was, at least to my mind, kind of weird, I did really like Matt (weird kids unite!). Magda Peterson from S12’s American Nightmare was also good, I liked her parallels with Sam and I feel like the deaths she caused were given weight, while also being sympathetic, she was a surprisingly dark and grounded character from late seasons Supernatural. Cassie was obviously fantastic but she feels like more than just a very minor character?
