This is the title track from Matt Tabor's album Ocean View. This piano trio is a lot of fun to play with because we get a chance to play very listenable, but interesting and challenging jazz. Although I love rocking out loudly it's fun to play soft and quiet music sometimes. We play at Living Room Theaters quite often, which is a challenging venue. It's basically a large concrete and glass cavern so even at my softest it can still be a little loud for people conversing nearby so I've had to work extra hard on playing compelling and exciting at extremely low volumes.
This song is one of my favorites because it's got a great bass line and I love getting the chance to play in 7.
