A big part of Arya's therapy after returning to Easthaven was obviously dealing with what had happened to her sister. Emily had been so important to Arya - she still was - but a part of her had compartmentalised her disappearance, a part of her knew investing too much of her energy wouldn't end well. She wanted to believe everything would be okay, that Emily would walk back into town as if nothing had happened, but that hadn't happened.
Emily's boyfriend had been so proactive in helping look for her that Arya felt a certain connection to him and she'd kept a bunch of the missing posters at the box office at the theatre. Whenever they ran out (the staff had promised to put one in every playbill when shows ran), she took a visit to Critical Roll to grab some more. Walking through the threshold of the shop, Arya spotted Matt and smiled in the somewhat sad way she often did when she saw him, "Hey honey," she hummed gently, "How're you doing?"
