MAS extends Matta discount offers
KUALA LUMPUR, March 17, 2015:
The Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Matta travel fair promotion will continue to be available and offered at the same levels as at the event held last weekend.
Regional senior vice president Malaysia region Datuk Muzammil Mohamad said bookings can be made at all MAS distribution channels from now until March 29.
“This is one of the best times to grab fantastic deals for travels up to December. We encourage customers to book immediately as seats are running out fast,” he said in a statement today.
Muzammil said Matta, the biggest annual travel fair in Malaysia, had been amazing with an overwhelming turnout by customers looking for the best holiday packages, and hence, the anticipated continued demand in the coming days.
MAS said it is offering the fares for those travelling to domestic destinations from RM135 within Peninsula Malaysia and for intra Sabah, Sarawak or from RM245 for travel between the Peninsular, Sabah and Sarawak.
The fares for favourite Asean cities are from as low as RM375 to Jakarta and RM425 to Bangkok, while flying to Hong Kong is from RM675, RM1,275 to Incheon and RM1,375 to Narita or Osaka.
Heading down under to Melbourne and Sydney is just RM1,575 and from RM2,000 to Cairns and Hobart.
According to MAS, for those planning a European holiday, the fare to Paris is from RM2,449 and RM2,799 to Rome, Milan or RM2,899 to Vienna and Madrid.
Economy class seats on the A380 superjumbo aircraft to London are still available with fares as low as RM2,499.
The destinations mentioned above are for all-in return fares on economy class for immediate travel until Dec 31, 2015, said MAS.
MAS said for those who choose to travel in business class, they could watch out for fares from as low as RM699 to domestic and Asean destinations, RM2,500 to China and Hong Kong, RM4,500 to North Asia, RM1,660 to South Asia, as well as RM4,900 and RM10,500 to Australia and Europe respectively.
