Mattel never ceases to stump me in their business decisions. Within the last couple months, American Girl released a new line of mix and match doll outfit pieces. One of the new shirts is already no longer available on the website. Just 4 days ago, American Girl made a post that had that item in it and when I asked if that item will be back on the website, I was told it would no longer be available. Are they just going to be retiring things after only a month or two? The only explanation I can think of that would make sense for this being retired so soon is maybe someone in their design department ripped off someone else's design and they were forced to abruptly discontinue this item.
