Brothers Jason Mills, Owner, and Jimmy Mills, Head Chef, of the restaurant “Spicy Belly”, credit both their Jamaican father and Korean mother with inspiring them to create their unique and innovative Jamaican Korean fusion dishes that they serve daily in the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia. Two of their popular dishes are the jerk chicken mandu which merges traditional Korean mandu (dumplings) with Jamaican seasoned chicken, drizzled with Jamaican jerk sauce and Korean green onions, and the Mo-Bay bimbap which adds a Jamaican twist to Korean bibimbap by substituting Jamaican coconut rice and peas for the traditional white rice along with a sauteed chayote. Mouth watering!!
