One of the many critiques I have about Bioshock Infinite is the fact there's no real struggle or difficulty within the game's combat system. Sure, you could be fighting a bunch of soldiers armed with turrets and RPGs or motorized patriots or the resurrected ghost of a dead woman, but there's no threat of dying and losing progress. If you're low on health or ammo, you can just assume Elizabeth will hand you more. There's no need to panic. And even without those there's still the shield that REFILLS. Combat is easy, ends quickly and is predictable, rather than an actual fork in your progression of levels.
Bioshock and Bioshock 2 were difficult. I can recall so many times when playing where I've had little to no ammunition, no health or Eve and no money to replenish any of these resources yet still had to fight a Big Sister or a group of Splicers. Getting close to winning the fights only to die countless times. It's hard. I've had to put down the game and play another day because of encounters I couldn't get past. When you actually get past these encounters, the win actually feels rewarding. All your effort was worth it. Bioshock Infinite will never have that sentiment attached to it.
i think with the bioshock movie I'm most excited to see fort frolic. It's my favourite level and I have a save at the start of it so I can replay it whenever I want. I also really hope and want to see the waltz fight against the splicers that's one of my favourite parts
uhh pinning this for now I am 15 ... So if you are uncomfortable following someone that age here's your sign to. yknow
ALSO if I have followed your blog when it's 18+ I am SO SORRY that's a complete accident I have not done that on purpose
Me and two friends have this bioshock au and tbh I should talk about it here because. People here would actually care
I rarely post here but I still always get notifications from that jack wynand plane bombing shitpost LMAO
Really embarrassed. Had that bald fuck on my mind and then someone was speaking to me and I was giggling as I answering.
