Matt Imagine for - @supertabbs
The clouds were turning gray, and you could hear rain starting to pour. You know it’s silly, but you can’t stand when it’s pouring rain and you can hear thunder in the distance. You can handle rain, but when it’s pouring heavy and hard, you just get nervous and scared. Especially since you were home alone.
You tried to focus on Netflix, watching a movie, when suddenly the lights turned off. You didn’t know what to, expect grab your cell and text Matt.
“Matt I’m scared.”
You delivered the text message and waited. Outside the thunder started to roar and you wrapped your arms around yourself.
“I’m guessing Matt isn’t replying.” You murmured as you put your head down, praying for it to end soon.
You heard the doorbell jingle. You sat up straight and went to hide. As the door open you realize the figure, his hair, and his arms. You rushed into his arms. He hugged you tightly, even though he was drenched.
“How did you get in?”
“I remembered your left a spare key near the plant.” He laughed.
You guys moved to the couch, as he held you close. You were shaking so he wrapped his arms around tightly, and kissed you on the cheek.
“I’m here okay babe. I’m not going to leave you alone.”
You looked at him, and couldn’t help but lean in for a kiss. For the rest of the night, as the thunder rumbled Matt was there to reassure and constantly told you cute things to make you forget.
You guys eventually fell asleep with your hands intertwined, ignoring the pouring rain and rumbles of thunder.
