Foster ended up in Philadelphia around the time he was 18 after hitching a ride across the country with a band. Shortly after arriving in the city, he met WC — and she convinced him to stick around for a few years. They were a total roller-coaster — very up and down, in no small part because Foster was incredibly passionate, but also definitely had a lot of trauma he didn't want to deal with... He never said 'I love you,' even though he obviously did, and they were both probably quick with an 'I hate you' whenever there was a fight. I also really love the idea that they got married on a drunken whim, and have never dealt with it since. Very much just totally young and chaotic; she was his first — and last — attempt at a 'serious,' 'adult' relationship. The reason why they eventually broke up for good is up for plotting, but Foster left the city immediately afterwards and has been pretty nomadic ever since.
