I just got sad thinking about what could have been for Skins Gen 4.
James Fitch, genderqueer, mischievous, always up for a laugh. He parties but it isn't his life, and he's just as happy making his own fun. He's always making life exciting for his friends, even as he has to fend of his dad's confusion about his identity and James not wanting to rekindle the family business.
Paddy Cook, always trying to emulate his older, fugitive brother. He's always getting in trouble purposefully, pushing buttons and making enemies. But Paddy is not quite the same as his brother, and his friends can rein him in easier than he'll admit.
Maude Malone, leader of the pack. Absolutely she's the boss of those two boys, and neither of them really argue that point or else they'll get beat up by her. She's got the wacky schemes, making the improbable possible. She has abandonment issues, so she holds on to her friends with all her might.
“You’re a crap shit." "It doesn’t sound right when you swear." “It doesnt sound right when you try to be cool. You’re not cool. And I am swearing now because you let me down. So deal with that, fuckteeth.” -Maude & Liv Malone
