Many of us do life unsure of what we are doing Unsure of all that could be Unsure of all we ought to be and say We wake up each trying so hard to just make sense of the rat race we were told we were on We wake up each new day trying to continue from where we stopped We try We err We try We break We try We fall We try We mess it all up and have to get back to the square one We were not told We were not taught how to live this life we strive to live So we mess things up Who do we blame Parents Siblings Teachers Pastors Everyone Anyone that can be at the receiving end of our venting and bashing We all have one ailment But one remedy The emptiness we often feel is as a result of the lack of purpose or direction The many dark days we battle may be as a result of the missing puzzle piece we are seeking If only we knew our WHY before we became adults If only we knew why we were Then we can know our HOW Then our WHERE shall become easier and we would have less pain Less chest pain Less head banging Less sleepless night Less worry Then we shall truly live With passion With zest And enthusiasm #maureenalikor #plaintruthswithmaureen #purpose #Why?
