A few months ago, I bought this Maurice’s perfume called I Am Real. The box description says: “Flirtatious, feminine, and radiant with juicy citruses and sparkling pomegranate.” The website description is as follows:
flirtatious and feminine
a mix of citrus, pomegranate, and a floral bouquet
light and breezy
So I had a gift card, which I wanted to use up. This perfume was on sale, and I’ve loved previous Maurice’s perfumes, so I decided to get this one. Sadly, it’s my least favorite of the Maurice’s perfumes that I’ve tried. (I have Sungari, Coastal Breeze, I Am Happy, and Lucky Me.) I probably wouldn’t have bought it had I not had the gift card to burn. So while this perfume isn’t horrible, it’s not fantastic either. I would not recommend it.
Sungari is another Maurice’s perfume that I have. Of the three that I have (the other two are Lucky Me and I Am Happy), I think that Sungari is my favorite! The description on the front of the box says:
Cool florals and golden amber to leave you feeling warm and refreshed.
And the description on the back of the box (and also on the Maurice’s website) says:
A luscious blend of white buds and fern leaves are woven together to create a cool splash, while mimosa blossom and purple tulips are uncovered. Lush passion flower, beach wood, and golden amber close this fragrance leaving you feeling warm and refreshed.
When I checked the website just now, I saw that, unfortunately, they have sold out of this fragrance! Not surprising, seeing how there is a sale going on now and also this fragrance is amazing! Hopefully they’ll have it back in stock soon! I definitely recommend this perfume!

New flats from Maurice's!! These pretty little things were originally 30 bucks, but the store had a sale where literally ALL boxed shoes weRE ONLY SEVEN BUUUUUUCKS!!!! Not to mention the total dumb luck that they had these in my size and they were the only ones! They're so comfortable too, the inside bottom is suade and padded so wonderfully you'd think you were wearing shoe inserts! Head to you local Maurice's for sales on boots, booties, wedgest, flats and heels!
Size down
Today I went shopping and every single thing I picked up I had to go back and get a smaller size. Everything. I have always had to go get a bigger size. I am so happy. I finally bought the nutrininja I've been drooling over for months, and made my first smoothie in it for dinner. I got all sorts of good stuff to put in said smoothies, and a bunch of groceries I don't even have room for! It's a nice feeling to finally have money, have nice clothes that fit (including my first ever little black dress) and other things I have been waiting so long for. It's nice to be in a good place. ☺️
