Aaaand, we're adding Mausau / Xbalanque to my list of NPCs I'd like to see someday become playable characters, alongside Ruu, Nechca, Jeht, Timmie and Rana. Make him a hero version of Chris from KOF.

I headcanon that Mausau here probably carries a fragment of xBalanque’s power given that he was possessed for the day the First Pyro Archon decided to appear to see how the future of Natlan was doing so possessing a body could leave a lasting effect which would give Mausau here a boost to train in order to get stronger, his body may not be able to do things most can do in the nation of fire but with time, maybe someday he will.

It’s like the sayings: Practice makes perfect along with Keep trying and you will succeed in due time!

I know Mausau is a exclusive story quest NPC in game but if he gets a vision, it would so be Pyro and wish this was how he uses it!

The fire gauntlets he used when xbalanque was there were so good, pls Hoyo, give the boy a Pyro vision!
