My SIL’s cat is sick, terribly sick- you can read the details here. So I’m trying to help raise the funds for his surgery and health-care needs as soon as possible. Missing my sweet boy tonight...I no longer have my beautiful Mau-Mau, but the Goddess and Koal both have a sweet companion. I wish I could hold and talk to him just one more time...#mauthecat #catsofinstagram #sweetmeow

Wednesday night we had to say goodbye to a sweet soul. Mau began to have a seizure, so we took him to an emergency vet. 20 minutes after calming down, he began to have another one. We felt it was best to help him pass over. Koal #koalthedog was there in spirit, and he guided Mau to meet the Goddess. I've been so upset over losing him, and feeling like I failed to give him all the care he deserved. He was so scared, and hurting, but I saw calm come back to him briefly just before he moved on. I'm going to miss my sweet boy so much. #rip #mauthecat #catsofinstagram #loveyouforever

So we're still working to raise money for Mau...between Poshmark sales, donations, and savings, we have about $400. This is huge, but we still have a long way to go. If you're able to donate to his medical funds, it would be tremendously appreciated!!! Mau is still super sassy and sweet, but the sarcoma has now grown to the size of a tangerine. He is still eating regularly and having normal bathroom functions, but eventually this will worsen. My hope is to at least remove the sarcoma and get him on chemotherapy. This may change the goal price wise, since surgery could cost up to $6k, but I have to have a consultation with the surgical physician to determine price.
