This weekend I went away to a really lovely blogging event hosted by @mavenconnex and excellently run by @emmaand3 & @pinkpearbear set in a stunning location @tortworth_court_weddings and just had the best day. I met so many lovely people but big thanks to @emmareed_writes for taking me and getting me home safely. It was also lovely to speak and meet @emma_lord_photography @cupoftoastblog @thatliz @ourtransitionallife and so many others! It was a really fantastic event and one that really seemed to focus on being authentic, being an individual, being me. Something that is really easy to forget and lose sight of in an online world dominated by numbers, stats and constant comparing. It was a really unique event and I’m so glad I was able to attend. Can you actually believe that’s me. Talking about my mental health & online life journey. Thats me stepping out of my comfort zone. I’m not one for bigging myself up or singing my praises but I totally fricken smashed it! Today’s event has been a blast. Now for an early night as I may or may not have sneaked a day in London in tomorrow as Chris has a meeting there. I’ve had such a lovely day , I say it all the time but getting out at little blogger mornings like today really keep my creativity going. It’s such a great way to get to meet up with friends who otherwise live in your phone. Today for the first time I actually felt a little bit confident. Like I was meant to be there. The events that Louise and Emma hold are just perfect for newbie bloggers. What a fantastic morning I’ve had at the creative bloggers morning. I have learnt a couple of tips for mobile editing. (Hence this pic) I’ve met some new bloggers who I hope I’ve given a little bit of inspiration to. And I’ve finally met my insta friend @pinkpearbear all be it briefly.
