You bet I did! He wasn't too happy, but we went anyways. Gotta look out for those cards, though! He didn't open the present I got him the other day, though--but I can always add to it!

I'm unfamiliar with the international notebook sizes like A4 and A5. What do you guys like to use and for what (classes, journals, etc...)? Thanks! :)

Sure! I’m not at all familiar with US sizes, so I had to google this. But it seems that A4 is around the American Letter page size, an A5 is half of A4, and an A3 is double the size of an A4, and so on.

I think what you want to use for classes and whatnot is heavily dependent on personal choice. I personally like a nice A4 size notebook for my classes because I get a lot of satisfaction out of reaching the end of a big page full of writing. But I use an A5 size for my bullet journal because it makes it easier for me to focus on the day in front of me. In the end, though, it really depends on how much material you have, and what works for you!

I agree with Aditi, that it is mostly dependant on personal preference. I never use anything other than A4 for classes, simply because I store all my notes in binders, and A4 is the usual size. And also I feel like A5 would be too small to be efficient.
