"Hey, Helm! How are you holding up in this heat? I caught some fish if you're up for some food."
Summer wasn’t the best of times for the Helmaroc King. Even though he had lived most of his life on an ocean, where the temperatures were regularly hot, that didn’t mean he enjoyed the temperature. A large dark bird like him didn’t do so well in the heat.
“This heat is making me miss the darkness of winter. And as long as they’re still cold, I’d certainly ‘up for some food’.”

Send me a “✬” and I’ll generate a number (Childish activities version)5. blowing bubbles (optional: chasing bubbles)
“Wander!” Lucas called out happily, a container of bubbles in one hand and the wand in the other. It was such a warm day, and what better way to spend it than blowing bubbles?
As he got closer, he dipped the wand into the soapy liquid and lifted it to his lips. He blew and watched as the bubbles floated out and made their way towards her. “Want to play..?” He questioned, with a big smile.
RP: Once a Year
Resetting the blankets to the best of his ability Jamie inspected his fort. It was made of pale sheets and and old faded blankets. Ones cast of when children got too old. He circled the set up again before ducking inside to check on the rest of his preperations.
Plates and bowls covered the inside of his makeshift home. He wanted everything to be just right. Doran would be here soon if he'd gotten the note Jamie had left for him. As soon as he was there the party would begin. It wasn't much but he wasn't about to let the day pass without recognition.
"You've been awfully quiet today."
"Forgive me Wander, today has..not quite been my day. Combined with the fact that I slept poorly last evening, and I've been listless. Did you need anything? I might have missed anything you asked in my sleep-deprived actions."

Biblioclasm:Is there something about themselves they wish fewer people knew about?
Lucas actually wishes that people didn’t know him as “the boy that lost is family”. It makes other’s first reaction to be sentimental and sweet to him but really he doesn’t want that at all. When people bring up his mother passing and Claus passing it just puts him in a down mood and he hates it being brought up often. He doesn’t mind to talk about it, but having it brought up when he isn’t prepared or wanting to talk about the subject, he really doesn’t like it.

♕ - What are 5 writing tips you’d give to beginners?
[I don't consider myself to be a really good writer, but I guess there are a few things I can say.]
1. Try to be diverse with your wording, but don't just use bunch of fancy words from a thesaurus.
2. Don't be afraid of descriptive words and phrases, but make sure they aren't getting in the way of what you're trying to say. Personally, I really like really flowery descriptive writing.
3.Practicing writing can be really helpful. It doesn't have to be long things, just doing some writing outside of RPs and stuff. I like to write short things using writing prompts just to get back into the character or the universe.
4.Reread your writing. I don't do this enough, but it really helps. Just quickly making sure it makes sense to you can be really helpful and show you places you make mistakes while writing.
5. Write what you enjoy because you'll write better if you like what you're writing.

Send me a "☂" for our muses to get caught in the pouring rain together!
This was not the ideal way he had planned this walk to go. First, he'd forgotten to pack an extra snack or two and now his stomach was grumbling. Secondly, it was pouring rain and he didn't have an easy shelter. Thirdly, he was without his jacket, for it now rested on the girl who had tagged along with him on this disastrous trip.
"Wander, let's get going quickly, I'd rather not either of us catch a cold. Stay close, alright?"
