267. clary: I can destroy anything

268. I know clary has rune ability and blah blah blah but it bothers me how she goes and thinks it’s acceptable to destroy anything without talking to anyone about it. “I’m destroying it” to the mortal mirror and cup. THATS NOT YOUR CALL. I don’t want jonathon or valentine to get his hands on it but she acts as though she’s the the clave and she doesn’t have to consult anyone about her choices. destroying mortal instruments affects all of downworld and shadowhunters. not telling downworld about a sword and thinking jace can destroy it affects the downworld. I really think clary has this whole I have these abilities so I can do whatever I want and make decisions for everyone. and it really reminds me of Jocelyn. how she hid the cup and the fake mortal mirror and acted like it was in everyone’s best interest

269. now that we’ve got the heartbreaking Maia scenes out of the way, we can get to the good stuff and we can finish up the Maia + Simon content

270. there is actually another Maia moment in this episode but that’s not until the very end so Maia and Simon moments are delivered here

271. I’m glad they gave Maia storylines in the show because she was shoved to the side in the books. Simon doesn’t cheat, Maia matters, she gets to be leader, and gets to have happy moments with Simon and her pack. also Maia’s whole life isn’t centered around Simon and abusive Jordan. it’s actually about her and not the men who destroy her

272. it’s great to have a happy in the moment couple because it gives us a break from the Malec is fighting segment

273. I wanted to get these Izzy is crying and sad moments because I don’t think I had a chance earlier

274. I think I did this one already but Izzy knowing this is going to be hard on Alec and knows to give Alec space

275. Em does so good in this scene when they think they almost lose max

    it  could  never  be  said  he  wasn’t  adaptable.  he’s  mostly  given  up  his  ...  old  habits.  stringing  people  up  and  bleeding  them  was  fun,  sometimes  still  haunted  his  dreams,  but  he’s  grown  bored.  he’s  even  deep  cleaned  his  apartment.  hidden  the  bloodied  knives,  saws  and  everything  in  between  where  no  one  would  ever  think  to  look.  an  old  serial  killer’s  lair,  turned  into  a  hallowed  museum  no  one  dared  to  dwell  in.  if  they  were  ever  found,  they’d  simply  be  considered  new  evidence.  (  google  and  a  city  of  supernatural  killers  truly  was  a  sight  to  behold.  )  he’s  pulled  a  lot  of  the  furniture  back  to  it’s  previous  arrangement,  back  when  he  was  human.  he’s  gotten  rid  of  some  of  the  posters,  put  up  more  appropriate  replacements.  (  slasher  films  would  be  too  obvious.  he’s  a  fall  out  boy  fan  now.  )  he’s  even  hidden  the  remnants  of  his  nasty  little  habits  in  a  milk  carton  in  the  fridge.  everything’s  so  much  more  fun  when  it’s  hidden.  (  parker  has  taught  him  well.  )  he’s  even  enrolled  in  a  college  course.  criminal  psychology.  know  thy  enemy,  as  they  say.  (  he  refuses  to  be  a  predictable  archetype  on  a  textbook  page.  )  “  coffee.  ”  it  just  so  happens  there  were  a  few  late  admission  options  at  her  school.  luck,  of  course.  nothing  more,  nothing  less.  he  puts  the  to-go  cup  down  in  front  of  her,  drops  his  bag  beside  him  and  takes  the  seat  opposite  her.  he  doesn’t  care  whether  she  likes  coffee  or  not,  whether  she  drinks  it.  it’s  all  for  show,  isn’t  it.  he  takes  a  sip  of  his  own  drink,  some  ridiculous  chocolate  concoction,  through  the  straw.  “  i  heard  it’s  good  for  you.  ”  he’s  already  stretching  his  legs.  this,  as  always  he’s  certain,  will  be  fun.                   @ravensflutter​

Moving out of my beautiful orange bedroom into...a much bigger room, that will soon become orange. I wanted to say goodbye somehow. It was a good five years, sunshine sleepytown!
