Just finished Dear Billy and the graveyard scene with Max’s letter had me straight sobbing 😭 . Also I can’t tell you how good it felt to hear her say she wished she could have saved him because it still hurts watching season 3 and seeing no one help him.
Listening to Max talk about how she wanted things to be better with her and Billy and how she cared about him despite everything just makes sad that so many people still hate him. Max believed that Billy mattered. That his life mattered. She felt like her life would be better with him still there. She also talked about how he saved everyone. I just wish that the ST fandom would recognize some of this and stop hating on Billy or anyone that loves him. The fact is you can’t say you love Max in one breath and then say Billy was a pos who deserved to die in the other. Because Max loved Billy and she didn’t want him dead.
