Hi Max, you have probably had the most exciting months of your life so far. Last summer, you became European U17 champion, followed by your World Cup success at the end of the year. Have you even been able to realize what you've experienced recently?

The past year was incredibly wonderful for me. There were so many great moments. But sometimes things went by so quickly that I didn't really notice what was happening around me. I would never have thought it possible that I would win these two titles

The highlight moments didn't stop there. You've been regularly involved in training with the professionals for a few months now. How were the first sessions with Manuel Neuer?

I've been a Bayern fan since I was a child and have admired Manuel Neuer ever since. It was an indescribable feeling to take to the pitch with him for the first time. The fact that my idol, who I watched on TV a few years ago, was suddenly standing next to me was surreal

How does it help you with your development?

He has something magical about him, saves unstoppable balls and doesn't really make any mistakes. We talk to each other a lot in training. Together with Sven Ulreich, he gives me lots of tips. Of course, I then try to implement things as best I can. It's a privilege to be able to train with the professionals and a legend like Manuel Neuer
