While it was Henry’s birthday party, it didn’t necessarily mean that there weren’t people who more closely associated with himself than his son. However, it wasn’t intended as one of his more politicized events and he had instead only invited those whose company that he actually enjoyed. Hence, Max’s invitation to the event. The man was charming, with a quick wit, like he was. It was only natural that they would get along. “It’s been too long,” he said with a bright smile on his face as he greeted the other man. “How have you been?”
