yep yep 100% agree. like jennifer lawrence being nominated so much when there were many better performances than hers last year
Yeah that's what I had in mind in particular. When she was first nominated for 'Winter's Bone' she was pretty unknown at that point and I personally think her performance was stronger in that film than it was in Silver Lining's yet because she was the "hot" actress at the time of that film, she won. I mean did the academy even consider who she was up against? Don't get me wrong I LOVE Jennifer, she is an amazing actress, but did she completely deserve that win over the other nominees? Idk. The Oscars are furstrating and predictable.
