For the new year...
So for the past couple weeks I've been thinking about how strangely obsessive I've become about maximizing the usage of my time spent commuting to and from work every day. I've lived in NYC for 3.5 years , and I'd be lying if I said that any moment I'm traveling and can't manage to be doing something productive feels like a moment wasted. Is this a millenial thing (I'm 26)? Should I be able to enjoy more silence, or better yet, the natural ambiance of NYC? That's not the point of this tumblr. The point of this tumblr is to let you know what I'm doing when I'm walking from my apartment to the G train, waiting for the G train, transferring from the G train to the L train, getting squashed into mush on the L train, then walking from Union Square to my office. And there'll be an arc to this statistic-filled story: in 9 months I'm moving upstate and will be taking the MetroNorth commuter line in every day, so it should be interesting to note the contrasts in experience. The Productive Commuter begins early 2014...
