❝Listen, I need you to do some shopping for me today, ‘cause we’re about to run out of everything.❞ -- @maximoffmagic
There had been a lot of times where Peter had been accused of things he had done, and there had been a lot of times when he had been accused of things he had not done. Or at least things that he could easily deny having done. But that was usually for things which were illegal. This was the first time he could recall being accused of needing to do something as boring as buying groceries. "Whoa, hey, think you've got the wrong guy!" he said, holding up his hands, "I always replace the Xandarian octopus milk when it runs out! And I never drink it straight out of the bottle!" (He was lying. He always did that. So no one ever tell Gamora. Or Drax, for that matter.) Either way, shopping for Earth food for strangers was definitely not part of Peter's job description. “Look, I’m a Guardian of the Galaxy, ok, not a Guardian of the Supermarket.”
