Welcome to Maximum Exposure 2011
Beginning in late April of 2011, Ryerson's School of Image Arts will host its 16th annual graduate and end of year show: Maximum Exposure. The exhibition showcases the works of 150- 200 emerging photography, new media and film based artists within Ryerson University.
Maximum Exposure provides the students of Ryerson's Image Arts program with a platform to launch emerging student artists into the arts and visual communications industry, while providing the public with insight into the talent operating within the university.
This year, Maximum Exposure will continue the tradition in bringing public awareness towards our Image Arts student body, Ryerson University and our generous sponsors. Maximum Exposure 2011 will be taking place at The Gladstone Hotel, which will be exhibiting fourth year thesis projects in the 2nd floor Gladstone Gallery and first & second year work in the Art Bar. Third year work will be exhibited at Meta Gallery, and we will be holding screenings of video work from all Image Arts programs and years at the Camera Bar. The events will kick off on Thursday April 28th and continue through May 1st 2011.
We look forward to the exhibition in April!

The Film aspect of Maximum Exposure is to showcase first, second and third year Film students. It is an opportunity for friends and family to see the students films and celebrate their hard work.
The venue is being chosen as we speak and will be announced ASAP. It is important that we have an awesome venue to screen our films so we can experience them as they should be seen and potentially attract outside attention. 2011 Programmed screenings will be: first year films, second year documentary, second year narrative, third year documentary, third year narrative, and festival highlights. There will be prizes and awards for the outstanding films given out at the end of the festival. Fundraisers will be happening throughout the next few months, please show your support and attend, as these events are to raise funds to make the festival happen! Deadline for submissions to the festival is April 15th. The festival will be the last weekend in April. Specific dates and times will be posted closer to the festival date. Admission to the films is free and volunteers are welcome! Look forward to seeing your films at the festival!
