Now that I’m not going to spoil the surprise, here is @rad-roche​ ​(maximum_ overboner over on ao3)’s amazing Fallout 4 noir story, Dead Man Talking! 

I am beyond pleased with how this cover turned out 💛 the swirls reminded me of 🚬 smoke

(not the cleanest stencil here, but shhh)

...and then on the inside...bam! A splash of colour. 

The endlessly talented rad-roche included several illustrations in Dead Man Talking, so this image became the main title page, and I carried the circuitry over into other elements of the text!

also pictured alongside the circuitry chapter headers: bonus ponytail!Hancock (you’re welcome 😌)

scene breaks, though, were a riff on the Valentine Detective Agency sign

I had SO much fun making this book as a gift for the author!! My favorite part was probably the design phase, or making the endbands (also silver, black, and gold, haha). Definitely going to keep my eyes peeled for a possible sequel 👀
