Name: Maxine Flint
Faceclaim: Milena Tscharntke
Age: 24
Blood Status: Pureblood

Former School & House: Hogwarts, Slytherin
Occupation: Junior Liaison for the Department of International Magical Cooperation
Max Flint was born minutes after her twin brother, Jackson, and though she entered the world just as fiery as he did, no one but the nursemaid paid her any mind. Fair enough, honestly, as Jackson’s attention was hardly any better, only earned by virtue of his being a boy. The next eleven years passed with little major excitements – their parents hardly paid the twins any attention (they’d done their duty as parents, after all, bringing two perfectly healthy Pureblood children into this world, why should they do any more?), instead leaving them in the care of the strings of nannies that came and went. Then there was Hogwarts, and while Max was sorted into a different house as her brother, she was insanely excited. This was Hogwarts! She’d make friends, learn how to use her magic to best of her ability, finally actually do something with herself beyond learning how to be a proper lady from her nannies and making up fake languages with her brother.
The fake twin languages proved rather fruitful as Max quickly found a passion in languages. She had a knack for learning them, picking them up quickly and using them whenever she found it possible. French came first, easily enough, the often chosen language among Pureblood tutors. Then came Spanish, Creole, Japanese, German, Italian, Korean. She’s actively working on learning more every day, but she’s already rather proud of the collection she’s gathered. It’s what got her hired for the ministry fresh out of Hogwarts, for the Department of International Magical Cooperation. She started off as an assistant, but recently got promoted to Junior Liaison, finally with tasks and meetings of her own to attend. She’s mostly in charge of small things, nothing of major importance – she recently helped work on the Quidditch World Cup, which was incredible – but she hopes to be picked for a seat on the International Confederation of Wizards pretty soon.
When it comes to the war, to be perfectly honest, Max couldn’t give two shits either way. She’s a Death Eater by association, sure, and helps them out if they ask, but she hasn’t taken the Mark yet. She might one day, but it’s not a life goal of hers by any means – she can do what she wants without it, and she knows it. Max just wants to be powerful and important, at the end of the day, and the Death Eaters certainly seem like they can help her on that path.
