“Wow you’re a tall one. Never thought I’d see a day where an ampharos was taller than me. Well, simply I can polish my wings with my beak but removing rust and such from my body can be a nuisance at times so I either go find some help or find a rocky or gravel hill and go take an electric slide and that is a fun thing to do.”

“For prevention though, I try to minimize contact with water, especially saltwater which sucks cause I like going to the beach, but oh well which is the better choice to have fun now and be salty later, or be bored and rust free. Oh, that reminds me I do have to chew out Raxxy for making me fly high over the ocean.”

“Sure it isn’t fun to chastise her, but even still her tidal as the captain of the group can be annoying, sea wanted me to fly to Alola then to Unova since it was shore-ter than the Kalos route, but that meant I had two long stretches of ocean to fly over. Anyway water we talking a-boat I need to set sail and find Raxxy.”

{Liberosis} A life like this must be very high paced, and with such injuries to... Kainda, well.. what keeps you in the life style? Is it merely the pay.. Or the thrill?

Max sighed at the question, “to simply put it, the reason we stayed in this profession was initially the pay for both of us, but after awhile Kainda kept on for the thrill of it and I just merely followed along to help protect her.”

“Another reason was the sense of adventure,” Kainda chimed in, “we have more or less traveled the world for these contracts. Met new mons, saw new sights, made friends, etc. etc. But the best part is-”

Kainda is cut off by a call from the umbreon from before, “Hello again, so I found out what that explosion was. Apparently rebels blew up a government building, approximately half of the building still stands the rest is rubble, anyway so Kainda-”

“I just realized this you’re not going to tell my boss/parole officer about my contract work in Kalos are you,” Kainda worried.

“If you’re willing to do a favor for me,” the umbreon smirked.

“Are you trying to blackmail me again,” Kainda retorted.

“Not really, since one you are my friend and two I can’t have you going to jail,” the umbreon chirps as Kainda rolls her eyes,”But seriously I need this favor though, do you still have the device I gave you from the last time you visited me?”

“Yea, why?” Kainda questioned, “what about it.”

“Turns out the guy I wanted you to send this to wanted to reverse engineer it and spy on me,” the umbreon states, “All I want you to do is turn it on and set it down, that’s all, it’s yours now take good care of it.”

“Okay, then.” Kainda cautiously states and does what the umbreon says. In a flash, a glaceon materialized with the device now sitting as an armband on their left shoulder, but their left eye is a silver-ish color with a glowing symbol on it.

“Hello, Kainda, Maxwell, my name is Alpha and I will be your personal servant for the time being,” Alpha speaks.

“Uh, Raven? What was that device and who is Alpha?” Kainda questions.

“Oh, I forgot I didn’t tell you, but Alpha here is going to help you out information wise if you need it for your job or contracts. As for wh-” Raven says before Kainda’s screen goes black.

“Raven? You there?”

“Prime’s home has lost power and as such lost the ability to communicate to us,” Alpha chimes in.

The Hunt Begins (pt 2)

“...lead,”Alpha mumbles, “Code received, directives altered.”

“Something going on Alpha?” Max asked.

“Alpha needs to speak to miss Kainda immediately, Mother believes miss Kainda is in danger.”

“That’s worrying, who does she believe is hunting Kainda?”

“Alpha is unable to grant that request. Alpha can only speak with miss Kainda on this matter. Alpha is sorry, but this is what the new directives for Alpha entail.”

Alpa wanders off looking for Kainda Mac following behind and after some time.

“Hey Alpha you’re in a hurry what’s going on?” Erika asks.

“Oh, Aunt Erika, where is miss Kainda? Mother wants Alpha to speak to miss Kainda because Mother believes miss Kainda is in danger.”

“...if I know my sister...she’s got to be serious about it...” Erika mutters then motions, “this way...”

“Oh, Mother told Alpha to tell Aunt Erika that Mother is upset about the Mightyenas.”

“figures that she would find out...”

“The Trackers? Well, the organization’s main job is to track down and capture crooks, to put it simply, however their authority to capture criminals is limited to only those who fled the region and for crimes committed under societal law not forest law. Like, for example, if someone commits a crime in Unova and stays in Unova we can’t catch them, however, if someone commits a crime in Sinnoh then flees to Unova then we have the authority to catch and return them to Sinnoh.”

“Time to hit the town,” Kainda says with a stretch, “wonder what bars are open.”

“Just don’t drink too much,” Max warns, “you do remember what happened last time don’t you”

“Oh quit your worrying and follow along ‘cause I am more’n likely going to need your help getting home.”

“Please just don’t get into a fight... I don’t want to have to take you the hospital again because of something stupid ”

<so Kainda is going to town and is going to have fun and probably going to be very drunk at the end, if want to try and pry something out of her why not buy her a drink. later posts will be tagged as alcohol related shenanigans>

So, Max, do you know anything about your birth parents?

“Unfortunately no,” Max sighed, “Sometimes I wished I knew but given how much Kainda needs me sometimes I don’t mind not knowing.”

Max the grins, “ ‘Cause what is an adventure without someone to share it with.”

How did Kainda and Max meet?

“Oh that’s simple I was adopted by Kainda’s family,” Max chirped, “according to her parents I had been orphaned. But I really want to get moving again don’t really like standing around in the cold.”

@Kainda: Who is Raven?

“To put it simply Raven is a good friend of mine from Kalos i think she’s living in Lumiose, if I’m not mistaken, anyhoo, she is an info broker and tech wizard, some might find the good friend thing debatable but who cares she’s helped me on quite a number of jobs at the cost of splitting rewards 65-35 my favor. Raven could basically break into any computer system out there.” Kainda beams.

“From what I know of Raven, Kainda is probably exaggerating Raven’s strengths,” Max interjects, “Raven mainly contacts clients through agents and such and I’m assuming that Alpha here is one such agent. So I’m not sure of what Raven’s motive is for having one of her agents tag along with us.”
