Did another 80's RomCom remix. I've been revisiting their newest album because of all the 80s sounds it has, so I decided to rip the vocals and have a go at it myself. The electric guitar tracks were specifically fun to record. The samples are pulled from the movie Pretty In Pink.

It's been 2 years since the first phoenix remix I uploaded and they're always nice enough to upload the stems for remixing so that's super nice. I'm a little late on the remix, everyone else did it like half a year ago, but here's my romcom version of Entertainment I whipped up with all the best 80s ingredients. Bells, excess reverb, gated snare, too much chorus, some analog pads, and more bells.

A real tear jerker this one. I started in Garageband playing piano in my boxers via Audiobus and a midi keyboard and recognized a little pattern I was playing. I originally had the reverse guitar solo from Jamup Pro that i cut because I just wasn't feeling it and was running out of time. For the vocals, I used Audiobus w/ Audioreverb to give the vocals a decent amount of reverb (slapback hall preset) and Garagebands built in compressor. From there I used Finaltouch to do the very bare mastering that I know how to do and then shot that into Audioshare. This is the first "traditional" style song I've recorded on IOS and I'm still fleshing out an all ipad album thats almost as dance-y as this track. goodnight everyone. don't forget to check for ticks.

I whipped this up for Mother's Day this morning. I used the drums from a song off the all ipad album I'm wrkin on and I might rework this and make it a 'part 2' I wanted to make those cheesy choir doos groove-able/tolerable and nothing says Mother's Day like a sexy saxophone solo. Whadda u think? Album cut material?
