The Shadow Realm Motif

This is something I started a couple nights ago. I’ve been writing about everything that led up to Lena getting to DuckBurg and the first part of it is the moment she was spawned. I was wondering what the soundtrack for that scene would be if this were a real episode of the show, so I hopped onto GarageBand.

I wanted to use that motif from “Friendship Hates Magic.” The one that Webby and Violet are humming in order to contact the Shadow Realm. I thought it would be fitting for a scene where Lena has just been spawned straight out of the Shadow Realm. I have no clue what the song’s title is, but I do know it’s by Dominic Lewis. All I really did was remix it a bit to make it fit the scene I had in mind a bit more.

I wanted it to sound slightly ominous because of Magica’s plan beginning, but also kind of gentle, considering this would be the soundtrack that plays over the first few moments of Lena’s life.
