A Date | Katya and Max
It was finally the night she had been waiting for. It was the night that Katya was to go on a date with Max. It seemed to be the day that would never come. But here it was and Katya couldn't deny that she had butterflies welled up in her stomach the whole day.
With a bit of persuasion in bringing Felix some good patients she was allowed to leave work early. The second Katya got home she began to fuss over what to wear on their date and how she was going to look. After much debate she finally settled on a knee length dark purple dress with long sleeves. She did her makeup to match her dress and did her hair up in curls.
She knew she would have waited for Max to come get her, but she just couldn't wait. So Katya left her apartment about an hour before their meetup time was set to be. It was a short walk to his apartment so she figured she would get there without enough time to spare before he decided to leave.
After a twenty minute walk she was making her way up the stairs of his apartment complex and to his door. One of his elder neighbors were talking in and gave him a death glare. She waved at them awkwardly before they glared at her and slammed the door. Guess they still hadn't gotten over her drunken disturbance a month ago.
Katya ignored that awkward encounter and knocked on Max's door. She patted her upper thigh as she waited impatiently for him to answer. She could only hope he hadn't left already and that they had passed each other on the sidewalk without her noticing.
