Chapter 3: My Name is............ Part 5

“Well done my children, was,” a stern voice said over the communicator

“Father?” Theta said

Back then, were surprised that father contacted us. No one had heard from him in a week before our mission started.

“Good work. Now the whole world knows that Indiana is under siege. Rohers is going to pay for his crimes against the Earth. It is time to end him” he said

“Where will you go now?” Theta said sobbing for he hadn’t seen father in a year, and this is the first time hearing his voice

“I am going to bring the other states to our order my sweet boy. Don’t cry Maxwell for you shall see me again” father said

Theta, or Maxwell has been waiting to see father for the longest. He is crying because father promised he would be back at my home when we was done. That was the last promise he ever broke to anyone that night.

“Samael you're quiet. I’d expected you to be like your brother” he said

Truth of the matter is….

“I’m used to you leaving. Getting up in the middle of the night without any notice. You always came back. You never left any of us alone for long. I know you’ll come back, because you still have a job, just like us” I said

“My brave child” Father said “I’ll call you with your next mission within the next two weeks. Finish the job my children” he said

I looked up at the buildings and I saw a body figure similar to his walking away. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Then I remembered where I was. I looked back at the monument, and I heard the soldiers gathering.

“Theta clean up your face and meet me on the ground, we have a job to finish”, I said

“Got it,” he said. I ran up the stairs and scoped out for any of the other soldiers. The two cross ways connecting to the main stairs had soldiers coming from the left and right. I hid behind one of the statues as they gathered in the stairs to regroup. I could hear Theta coming this way. He grabbed my shoulder letting me know he was there. We went up to the door and tried opening it but it was locked.

“Damn theirs a security code,” I said

Chapter 3: My Name Is........ Part 3

Theta was still connected to the power grid. Moving his fingers at lightning speed he cast a complete blackout of the city. I could see most of the men regrouping by the way they pointed their flashlights. Since they could barely see anything I blended in with them. I snuck in the middle and planted something on the ground. It didn’t take long for the backup generator to kick in and turn the lights back on. I don’t remember what they said once the lights, all they did was jump back in fear, and point their AK-47’s at my head. I put my hands up and looked down. The soldiers also looked down wonder what I had in my hand. They saw this gray square with a circular bump on top. They all started to fall back thinking it was an explosive. Well, they were half right. As everyone, in fear still pointing their weapons at my head ready to kill, was just watching me do something with what was underneath my ass, I just kept my hands held high in the air with my left fist balled up. Slightly moving my thumb up, everyone saw what I held in my hand. A detonator button.

The sound of them cocking their guns, and the sight of them trembling like I was about to kill them just made me think of why I ever called this place home. It was only a few months later I realized it was my Cyrus.

Slightly moving my thumb towards the button, I could smell the sweat on most of their bodies.

“Enough teasing. Finish this” Theta said

I pressed the button and this explosion of a black cloud surround us, and I was completely blinded. I ducked because I anticipated the gun fire coming in. I heard someone walking behind me. They couldn’t see me, so I had to take them out. Once I got a good feeling of their arm, I grabbed a hold and disarmed them of their firearm. I put them in a headlock. They struggled for a good 30 seconds, but I manage to get them on the floor catching Zs.

Chapter 3: My Name Is........ Part 2

“Looks like we are gonna have to go head on, Batman style,” Theta said with his feminine like voice

“Are you fucking crazy?” I replied

“No I mean we take them out one by one. But first we need to disable the power, look they set up a generator to keep them from being affected blackouts. If you can get me close I can disable it, and we will have complete darkness. The thing is it’s still connected to the city's power grid. I’m just giving them a sense of security until the time was right” Theta said

It was a good idea, but not even our target, Governor Rohers, isn't even that dumb not to set up a backup

“What if there's a backup generator? It could power the cameras and Rohers will see us coming” I said

“You leave that to me. I didn't bring this for no reason” Theta said grabbing his laptop

Give Theta a laptop and a wireless adapter and that boy can do wonders.

We climbed down to the sidewalk. We didn't need to worry about the soldiers since all they were protecting was the monument, a mistake on Rohers end. Always have a backup in the streets. Not just the perimeter.

The monument was just a giant spotlight, showing us where everyone is. Hiding behind the walls of the various buildings, I grabbed my binoculars to see how many there was. There was ten on the outer side of the circle. Another two guarding the generator. Theta was on top of the building above me, as I called him on my communicator I asked

“Theta, do you mind setting the mood for the welcome party?”

“Your wish was my command” he replied

Chapter 3: My Name Is....... Part One

Back during the battle, weakness wasn't an option. With our limited power and resources, you didn't have much choice but to work your ass off. I still remember my first mission. The United States was our first target. We started in Indiana. It was the perfect mixture of what we needed to get everything off the ground. I was with Theta during that mission. The fight was like a civil war. Our job was to find the leader of the enemy and get them to surrender. Keep in mind this was three years ago (the international war didn't start until after we took over the U.S.) and Theta still had his female qualities with him. The only thing they had to look male was their hair was cut shorter and they had their binder on.

This started at Circle Center Mall. We were on the rooftop right over the movie theater. Mapping over the target's base. Everything was pitch black and quiet. Nothing but abandon cars, and quiet skies. Looking out at the city the only thing that was lit up was the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. I had only lived in town for a few years, never been inside and I'm learning about every inch of it as we speak.

Maxwell, is the current legacy of the Theta series. Commander Theta is an incredibly smart, and gifted technitian. He’s constantly pushing his body to the limit, but he mainly does it to get his down time a lot faster when it comes to the tasks he is assigned. Commander Theta started his transition from female to male when he was 14, and underwent the sex top surgery when he turned 18. The reason it took so long (considering the advancements in Babylonian medical technology) was because Commander Theta had to go under a different kinds of surgery. The Theta series is notorious for being known for their technological and cybernetic advances through the many generations of Babylon’s history, so it would be fitting that their bodies would be the only ones to handle mechanical enhancements. Their intellect is everything but technological, for it is believed to come from the gods and the ancestors of the ones who came before them. Commander Theta’s main job is to keep the electricity grid running throughout the entire world, but most of the workers back in his home land seem to manage that pretty well. All Theta does is mostly look for ways to earn quick cash while he’s on the road, or lying around when he’s home.

Special Abilities

With the cybernetic enhancements added onto Maxwell’s body, he is able to hack into any electrical device and make it do his bidding. Along with the enhancements, they also give him superhuman strength, but like a device that requires electricity if he doesn’t charge his body by sleep, food, or being plugged in he could be shut down until he is given the energy to wake up.
