I’ve been catching up with the May basho in fits and starts as I have time and Day Six featured one of my favorite participants.

No, not a rikishi, in this case it’s this fabulous goth lady who’s always in the same seat. It’s right up front, so she’s either incredibly wealthy or knows somebody who is.

(The other sighting of this basho was a guy right behind the main judges who was not only wearing a Mr. T Experience shirt, he was wearing the exact same one as one I had in high school until about a decade ago. His looked completely new.)

I feel like sitting in the front row of a sumo tournament must be akin to doing the same at a Gallagher show. Except in this case you don't get a trash bag to protect you when 300+ pounds of scantily clad ass flesh lands on you.
