i just saw a. take on non-binaries that makes me so squeamish i'm getting a little sick

like the way it was worded made it seem like "everything that isn't cis is trans" which i'm sure wasn't their intention. i'm not saying non-binary people can't identify as trans, i'm saying they looked like they were making a blanket statement of "All non-binary folks = trans" and that makes me squeamish, especially since they were conveying it as a "Haha hey guys just a reminder" type of thing. it makes me incredibly uncomfortable, because hey. not every non-binary person uses the trans label

like Man. imagine you're minding your own fucking business and then finding out some freaks think it's okay to go after people just because their fictional preferences aren't morally acceptable by their standards. my dudes, you call proshippers the freaks but then turn around and harrass everyone who isn't okay in your book. how do you still think you have the moral high ground

i cannot Wait until everyone finally realizes how cult-y this entire pro/anti bs is. literally everyone is regressing to grouping everyone else into their falsely made perceptions instead of, yknow. having conversations and finding out whether you would get along with someone. having conversations and spotting red flags. having conversations and slowly painting pictures of the people you're interacting with.

but noooooooo now people get Forcefed the "hey are you aware xy is a proshipper/anti" and some people actually take it at facevalue and choose to not interact based on that instead of. taking it with a grain of salt

imagine losing your ability to make decisions for yourself and you start thinking "man this kind person went out of their way to warn me, bless <333" or "oh shit if i keep interacting with this person people are gonna think i'm not an ally anymore" you know. like a cult. give people One reason why you don't pass their standards anymore and they will Abandon you so quick regardless of how close you are. because we all know if you don't pass you aren't an ally. you're an enemy and those must be harrassed out of their space and/or made felt as uncomfortable as possible so that they leave by themselves in order to ensure everyone's comfort.

huh what do you Mean "people can communicate boundaries for their comfort" lol obviously people are incapable of doing that for reasons i will never explain because i got the moral high ground and therefore i am always right(TM)
