New Music: May Lyn “First”
I came across this track just before I went on holiday - which is okay really because it just meant I had more time than usual to get to know it. That being said though, it wouldn’t take many listens to get that catchy-as-‘atmospheric-r&b’-hell vocal line stuck in your head (and if atmospheric r&b hell exists, take me there when I leave this place). Brisbane’s May Lyn’s obviously got a pretty incredible ear for melody, and there’s something that’s equally dreamy yet grounding in First. It’s the second single from her upcoming EP which you’re naturally gonna love.
